FAQ

Common questions.

What is Neubie?

Neubie is a direct-current neuromuscular electrical stimulation device. Unlike TENS, it works at the nerve level rather than just the muscle, which is why recovery and pain-reduction outcomes are different.

How is it different from TENS?

TENS uses alternating current to mask pain signals; Neubie uses direct current to retrain how the nervous system communicates with the muscle. Different mechanism, different outcome.

Will it hurt?

You'll feel the current — a tingling, pulsing sensation. Most people describe it as intense but not painful. Intensity is adjustable; we calibrate to your tolerance.

How many sessions do I need?

Depends on goal. For acute recovery, one or two. For chronic pain or performance work, 4–8 sessions over 4–6 weeks is typical.
